Mbano Community Annual Fundraising Party 2016 in New York

Bronx, New York: Recently, the Mbano Community in the New York Area recently held its Annual Fundraising Party 2016 in Bronx, New York. The event was attended by friends and well wishers of the Mbano people from around the United States and even from outside North America.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The event kicked off with the introduction of the MC, Chief Jude Okoroji by the Party committee chairman, Mazi Emmanuel Ohuabunwa. The MC then called upon the members of the High Table. Opening prayers were led by Rev. Dickson Nwokoro followed by the presentation of Kola Nut. The women of Mbano ushered in their president Mazi Richard Ukwuozo before the Chairman of the event gave his opening speech followed by the welcome address by the President of the association, Mazi Richard Ukwuozo. Dinner was served alongside a video presentation of the efforts of the association towards helping with the Medical condition of members of the community down in Nigeria. The Donations segment was observed followed by traditional performances by the Mbano women and the Masquerade performance showcase by the Mbano men. The hall was then opened for dance and more dance.
