Conference Details/Burden: From the inception as a colonial state, Nigeria has been characterized with severe ethnic conflicts, civil war, secession, minority agitations on equality, conflict over powersharing and resource allocation, which militate against democracy. It has thus become pertinent, considering recent agitations, for stakeholders to find a common point of convergence and consensus in effectively mitigating the effect on democracy, national cohesion and economic transformation.
Invited scholars in the ACLN “Moving Forward” summer conference will be proffering practical roadmap in moving Nigeria forward.
About Us: ACLN started out in the United States in 2015 as a platform that brings Nigerians across the globe together to advocate for good governance and visionary leaders back home. Our vision is to see Nigeria reformed and regain its lost glory as a country once an enviable pillar to the whole world. Our membership cut across United States, Canada, Europe and Asia (all Nigerians in Diaspora), and the organization has since been recognized by the United States government as a section 501C non-for-profit organization. To us in ACLN, we believe greatness is not in the best of everything that we possess but in the sacrifice we make to ensure we leave our nation and the world around us better than we met it.
