Baltimore, Maryland, USA: Recently African entertainers from around the United States came together in Baltimore to hold the First Annual African Entertainment Nite event. The event which was widely attended by entertainers and producers of all areas of African entertainment was held at St. Anthony's Hall in Baltimore, Maryland. There were high profile celebrity and African entertainment big wigs in the house including a good number of African filmmakers from the Nollywood Producers Guild USA such as Oliver O. Mbamara, Bethels Agomuoh, Felix Nnorom, and Chisom Oz-Lee. Of course, the host of the event, Chima Austin (Movie Empire) is also a member of the Nollywood Producers Guild USA. Other producers include Fred Idika of XMedia productions and Promoter IK Ahaneku. There were also high profile entertainers from around the USA with some coming from Hollywood California, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, New Jersey, Atlanta, Texas and even Wacomzy from Nigeria. Some of the featured entertainers include filmmaker/singer Koby Maxwell and Nigerian dancing sensation Ade and his partner who also conducted a dancing session for members at the event.
