Kelechi weds Albi in Ben Salem Pennsylvania 2005

The Turkish and Nigerian Communities in Bensalem, Pennsylvania came together recently to celebrate the traditional wedding ceremony of their daughter Kelechi Iheoma and son, Kohen Albi. It remains one of the most colorful events of the summer. The event was covered by our staff who brings you some exclusive pictures of the colorful ceremony.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The weather was beautiful as guests arrived and settled down. Members of the high table were summoned and all traditional protocols were observed. The bride and groom were ushered in.  The procession involved an array of beautiful bridesmaid and groomsmen all dressed in colorful uniform of African attires. The event continued in full swing with speeches, dance, dinner and more dance. Wedding pictures were then taken, many of which we bring you below.
