ARTS EVENING (April 4th) – Clark Studio Theatre, Lincoln Centre 

“Ndebele Funeral.” The acclaimed work examines the world of modern South Africa through the aspirations and loss of three characters whose lives intersect in a Soweto shantytown. Poignant and darkly funny, Ndebele Funeral features original music from Spirits Indigenous, and gumboot dancing from the mines in Jo’burg. The work has been named a Critic’s Pick by Time Out NY and has been awarded an Overall Excellence Award for Best Play by FringeNYC.
