INTRODUCTION: CULTURES is a new Comedy drama television series featuring Chief Chika Okpala MON, MFR, (aka: Chief Zebrudaya, alias 4:30), written and directed by Oliver Mbamara (DGN) (director - Slave Warrior, Spade Movie Series...)

The Series is available for television and/or pay-per-view programming. Interested persons please contact the producers.

Synopsis and Introduction:
Events in Nigeria cause Ozobio, a Nigerian banker to stay back in the United States where he had gone for a vacation. Concerned that Ozobio could marry from America, thereby ending his lineage back in Nigeria; Ozobio’s family chooses a wife for him and engages his Uncle, Chief Anabaraonye Akaekpuchionwa (Chief Chika Okpala, aka, Chief Zebrudaya, alias 4:30) to travel to the United States to deliver the “wife” to Ozobio on behalf of the family. When Chief arrives USA and discovers that Ozobio is already engaged to a Chinese-American, he takes matters into his hand to make things “right.” What ensues is a catalyst of humorous dramatic conflicts fuelled by differences in ego, values and cultures.

In the backdrop of Ozobio’s dilemma, the challenges of immigrant lifestyles in Diaspora are showcased with two other immigrant families. (1) A struggling Zambian American married to an industrious and caring Caribbean woman who runs an African restaurant in New York. (2) Mr. Falana, a boastful Nigerian immigrant who insists that he belongs to the high class of society even though he seems perpetually jobless and has no legal residence papers. His desire to bring and keep a high class wife from Nigerian lands him in continuous trouble and the drama that unfolds is hilarious.
