New
York: Regine Fashions recently held a fashion show in New York
City for the benefit of children in Africa. The event was attended by
personalities in the fashion and movie industries, diplomats of some
African states as well as the general public. The show featured the
works of some of Africa's best designers in North America including,
Estella Couture, Jonathan, Moshood, Regine Fashions, and more. Our
staff was there to bring you exclusive photo-coverage.

FASHION
MODELS: A line up of fashion on display by beautiful African models
HOW
IT HAPPENED:
Fashion
and movie industry personalities, fans, other interested members of the
public came from many parts of the world. Some even arrived the day
before to take part in the early morning programs such as the DVD
autograph signing session organized by Africa Movie Mall, African
Events.com, and Regine fashions. Some Nollywood/Nigerian movie stars at
the autograph session included Ramsey Noah, Regina Askia, and Omotola
Jolade-Ekeinde. From the autograph session the stars moved on to Lehman
College, venue of the main event. There were two DJs on board supporting
MCs, Away Away and Regina Askia as the fashion designs of Estella
Couture, Regine, Jonathan, Moshood, and others were displayed by
beautiful African models. Oliver Mbamara moderated the Open Mic session
which featured a one-on-one interaction session between Nollywood movie
star Ramsey Noah and the audience. There were musical performances by
Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde, Madarocka, B.Clay, Jennifer and Zygma Dancers,
and more. The event was concluded with a dinner and after party event at
Sam's Cafe.
