The Orlu 2003 Scholarship and Dinner Dance Party, New York June 28, 2003 

The Orlu Cultural Federation, Inc. held its 2003 Scholarship fundraising dinner and dance party on June 28, in New York.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The event commenced with the introduction of the MC who in turn introduced the Chairman and his Supporters. There was opening prayer, Nigerian and American anthems, and the presentation of kola nuts. The President, Chief Ohakamnu then gave his welcome speech followed by the Chairman's opening speech. The OCUFE Youth dance was presented . Dinner was served and scholarship donations were given followed by the Award of scholarship by Attorney Ferdinand Ubozoh and Mrs. Lilian C. Duru. There was the presentation of plaques to Ex-officials and dedicated OCUFE members by Nze (Dr.) B.C. Duru and Lolo Collet Ohakamnu. The Orlu Women's Dance group (Egwu Ukwu) and Masquerade entertained the audience. Vote of thanks was given by Chief George Ohakamnu and the DJ took it away from there with the audience dancing till dawn. Our Men Oliver Mbamara, Esq. and Sir Citor Felix Nnorom were their and got you the exciting shots as usual. Please enjoy!
