INAUGURATION OF ODENIGBO THEATER AND DANCE GROUP, April 12, 2003

HOW IT HAPPENED: Producer Tony Duru, welcomed the audience, and then introduced the members of the group (ABOVE). The event kicked off with drama sketches, traditional dances, and dance version of the play. There was a break for people to eat and drink. Then the play started. At the end, Artistic Director, Oliver Mbamara, Esq. introduced the members of the cast and crew at the end of the play (BELOW). A free for all dance session wrapped up the day. Nigerian Lawyers Association was represented at the occasion by its present and erstwhile Presidents; Shamsey Oloko, Esq. and Beatrice Hamza, Esq. seen on the right end of picture ABOVE, exchanging gestures with past Vice President and present Board member of NLA, Ihenji Ugenyi, Esq. Secretary Kelechi Amasike and Wale were also there.
