The Nwosu family, friends and relatives held a baby shower for Lolo Ngozi Nwosu on August 16, 2003 in New York. HOW IT HAPPENED: The event commenced with attendees taking their seats in hush fashion until the arrival of Lolo Ngozi Nwosu who was thrown the surprise of a baby shower. The audience then settled down to the food and drinks. Opening prayers was led by Sister Ifeoma Okwuka and then, Chief Josephat Nwosu (“the man who did the deed”) presented the Kolanut. Dr. King Oharanwa collected the kolanut and handed it to Chief Ibe, who in turn haded it to Chief Ben Ukwubuiwe, and so on until all traditional kolanut protocol was observed, and the kolanut was shred and eaten. The couple was then invited to cut the cake which was shared amongst the guests who in turn wished them well with the expected baby. Guests continued to pour in and more food and drinks were served well into the morning, while some guests danced away to DJ Obed Ejiogu's mix.
APPRECIATION: The Nwosus extend their appreciation to all who helped make the event a success.
