HOW IT HAPPENED: Several blocks of the street were closed down as marshals and dignitaries including Diplomatic officials marched down the street en-route the 44th street stage where various groups performed. The event witnessed a record crowd attendance and even after the formal events such as the parade, speeches and performances were over, attendees stayed around to interact and revel in the beauty and joy of the green, white, green. Congratulations Nigeria!
