President Said Hassbane, Council of Prefects of Greater Casablanca, presented Secretary Ted H. Jacobsen with a magnificently edited album that describes Casablanca as "a sprawling, enigmatic, disconcerting yet fascinating metropolis...."

All during the afternoon festivities, these skilled, traditionally garbed marksmen would charge the tent, stop uniformly "on a dime" and shoot their salute in the air, turn and do it again and again on a regular schedule.

“May Allah bless all the people of Morocco and guide and strengthen His Majesty, King Mohammed VI, with the wisdom and dedication to fulfill his destiny.
“God bless all those I have met in beautiful and friendly Morocco. God bless the poor, distressed and disabled, and God bless the Foundation that works so assiduously to help. Through the Foundations’ ongoing, charitable efforts, they bridge the mighty ocean to link communities, heritages and cultures and, most importantly, to build friendship and understanding between the USA and Morocco.
“I was privileged to have been a part of this extraordinary Festival and experience.
“With deep and everlasting gratitude,”
- Ted H. Jacobsen
