Mirror Foundation
Miss Africa Switzerland is a concept by African Mirror Foundation.
The purpose of organizing Miss Africa Switzerland is to provide African Women living in Switzerland a forum in which they can express their talents, intelligence, opinions on culture, life style and community issues affecting them.
Miss Africa Switzerland Beauty Pageant is expected in the future to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women such as Scholarships. Also to promote their values and voices in culture and other important aspects of life.
The image of Africans in Switzerland needs to be reputable and also visible in the good work that they do. African women needs a celebrity way of life and to
publicize about their proud culture, in order to achieve this goals, we require shows on TV stations, Media News papers and magazine coverage etc.
No Bikini Contest
Unlike most other beauty pageants around the world, Miss Africa Switzerland forbids
the exposure of our women. As Miss African Switzerland Organizers we still
maintain the norm and cultural practices of Africa. Our aims are not to expose nor dispose our women but to show and celebrate African Beauty with pride.
We believe that a woman need not be half naked before you tell if she is beautiful. Above all we focus on brain-beauty as
much as the physical beauty.
