Mbano National Assembly Convention 2004 in New Jersey

The Mbano National Assembly recently held its National Convention in New Jersey. The event witnessed a massive turnout of Mbano Indigenes across the United States. It was an evening of camaraderie and fun-filled entertainment. Our staff was there to bring you the coverage with exclusive shots as usual.

CHAIRMAN: Chief Innocent Njoku (CEO Trans Atlantic Airlines) and Lolo S.C. Njoku at the event

FUN-FILLED EVENING:  The audience get on their feet to enjoy the evening at the event.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The event started with the gathering of Mbano indigenes as well as guests from across the United States. Opening prayer was led by Rev. Paul Ekezie. A couple of the dignitaries were invited to grace the high table. The Chairman of the occasion, Chief Innocent Njoku then led the traditional presentation of kolanut to guests. He followed it with his address. Children of Mbano sang a welcome song. Guests treated themselves to dinner. Then it was entertainment time and the popular Soukous Stars took center stage and rocked the house with scintillating African beats and rhythm. Led by singer Jirbo, the band rendered their popular tracks with hot enticing African dance steps by the Soukous Dancers. The Mbano women also had their time and showed off their graceful African cultural dance heritage. Chief Njoku of Trans Atlantic Airlines and other dignitaries and attendees donated generously to support the progress of the Assembly. In all, it was an interesting night filled with fun, interaction, and entertainment.
