HOW
IT HAPPENED:
The picnic was scheduled to last from 11:00AM to 7:00PM and it did.
At about 11AM the early birders arrived to kick things off. Others
joined as the day progressed. As the day progressed, attendees
treated themselves to barbecue, drinks, and other refreshments. Others engaged in
games and other picnic activities such as soccer, volleyball, and more.
while others sat and engaged themselves in cheerful jokes and conversations.
African picnic events afford the younger generation of Africans the much
needed opportunity to mingle. Sometimes, such event marks the only time
children and youth from African communities get to mingle and know each
other as well as learn about their people. This event succeeded in that
regard as many youngsters were in attendance and they had the opportunity of meeting and
playing with each other. It was a successful picnic.
