In
Untermyer, the Kotchegna Dance Company recently entertained the residents,
an Upstate
New York population with some African Drums and dance steps. Though a
predominant white neighborhood, the crowd cheered and clapped with
appreciation and satisfaction to the uniqueness of African Drums and
dance steps. Our men were there to bring
you the photo coverage.

DANCE AND DRUMS: On Stage
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The event was attended by a mixture of all the members of the
Untermyer community - predominantly white. They came with their chairs,
hot dogs, snacks, etc, and settled down to powerful drum beats and
energetic dance steps by the Kotchegna Dance Company. There was a
brief intermission before the Drums sounded again and the dancers shook
the stage once more for the impressed and cheering crowd.
