Enugu, Nigeria: Recently, final arrangements were put in
place for the take off of an International Training Institute for
Radio and Television Productions in Enugu, Nigeria. To this end, African
Events Productions has teamed up with Krisanctus Productions, an Enugu
based production outfit to run the International Institute. Admissions
are currently open to actors, actresses, and other artists both from
within and outside Nigeria who are interested in learning the
rudiments of Television and Radio productions and performances as
well. Classes will commence on the 5th of August with first batch of
hundred students who will be specializing in Acting, playwriting,
audio and video editing, photography and photo editing and sound
engineering. Actors will be taking additional course on speech.

MORE ABOUT THE INSTITUTE:
The International Training Institute for Radio and
Television Productions also known as the KRISANCTUS PRODUCTIONS
INTERNATIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE plans to equip students with the
knowledge and expertise to produce practical works which will in turn be
aired on major networks in Nigeria and in the US. Krisantctus
Productions and African Events Productions have already struck a deal
with RayPower FM in Enugu to broadcast all quality materials that will
be produced in the school. Arrangement with AIT is also on the way for
such agreement.
The inaugural students may also benefit by being part of
the crew and cast in the Institute's December recording of an Igbo soap
that will be aired on our partner stations in Nigeria and US. African
Events is presently seeking for such arrangements that will enable
radio and TV stations in the USA and Canada to be broadcasting such
African programs as those that will be produced at Krisanctus
International Productions.
This school will play a strong role in the provision of media materials
for these channels. We also hope to start up exchange programs where
outstanding students from Krisanctus Institute will visit US to join our
crew here in American to produce some works.
