Jersey: Recently, a select group of professionals
consisting of filmmakers, doctors, lawyers clergymen,
academicians, businessmen, and more gathered to rejoice and
celebrate with our colleague, Ekerete Udoh - the publisher
of Diasporan Star Newspaper who narrowly escaped the recent
tragedy of the ill-fated Dana airline plane crash in
Nigeria.

IT HAPPENED:
The barbecue-style event
tagged “An Evening of Appreciation With Ekerete Udoh” was organized by
Professional committee of friends led by Moses Adedeji (producer, Tears of
my joy) Oliver O. Mbamara (New York State Admin Judge and Filmmaker)
Bethels Agomuoh (film director and marketer) Chizom Ozzi-Lee
(producer/actor) Mrs Olamide Davis Talabi (CEO Miss Africa Tri-State
beauty pageant) Irene Nwogu (script writer/producer) Others are Pastor
(Dr.) Adeyemi Adedeji (Executive producer Tears of my joy and Pastor of
Christ Glory International ministries NJ) Felix Nnorom
(Filmmaker/Producer) Mr. Lookman Mashood (CEO Bukka Restaurant Brookyln
NY) Mrs Maureen Eduwu (make up artist and Mary Kay major distributor in
NY) Mr. Mike Mbagwu (Actor/chorographer) and Ms Koleurz (singer/composer).
The event was attended by
a select group of guests and dignitaries including Dr. Christian Anyanwu
(professor Dept of Social Sciences, QCC-CUNY) Mr. Ketan Patel (CPA) with
his wife, Mike Nwasie (Nollywood USA top producer ) Actress Josephine
Defeis (from Italy) Terence Augustus (CEO Tristan Limousine services
Brookyln ) Kwame Boadu ( Award winning producer “Somewhere in Africa) Oji
& Ora (founders of Nollywood NYC) Emma Agu IKtune (Musician and
broadcaster-IKTune NY) Mr. Eric Chifunda (Therapist/Actor/filmmaker)
Mr.Milime Elien (CEO Coach travels services and medical transportation)
Mr. Anant Patel (top official from MTA NY) and Adebayo Adeleke (the Boss
“Ade original Suya”).
Ekerete Udoh who arrived
at the event with his entourage in a black stretch limousine, was able to
narrate his experience and thank God for sparing his life while asking for
prayers for the families of those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
