Bronx Home Care Services 6th Annual "Hands of hope" Gala Tribute, June 27, 2003

HOW IT HAPPENED: The event started with a cocktail. The audience then took their seats for the Dinner Awards, music and dance. Rev. Rosalind Braithwaite delivered the invocation, while Ms. Linda Henderson delivered the welcome address. This was followed by an overview by Executive Director, Chief Michael Anorue. The event then proceeded to the "Hands of Hope" awards presentation. The recipients included - The Rev. Rosalind Braithwaite, Senator Olga A. Mendez, Beatrice Castiglia-Catullo, Elias Karmon, and Terry Martin. Subsequently, more awards were handed out to other recipients including the Home Health Aide of the year awards. Dinner was served, and the audience got down to boogieing. Prominent guests such as Senator Ruth Hassell-Thompson graced the occasion.  There was a raffle draw in which Nze Ebere won the top prize - a television. Vote of thanks was delivered by Chief Anorue, and the Audience then boogied all night. Venue was - East Wood Manor, Bronx, New York. Our men Oliver Mbamara, Esq. and Felix Nnorom were on hand to cover the event and get you the most exciting photo shots as usual. Please Enjoy!
