The Nzuko-Aro NY/NJ/CT Annual Dinner/Fund raiser and Nneoma Award, June 2003

The Nzuko-Aro NY/NJ/CT held its 2003 Annual Dinner Dance and Computer Center Fund Raising, which also featured the conferment ceremony of the title of 'Nneoma' (Good Mother) to Mrs. Commy Modupe Ukpabi nee Williams.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The event started with the introduction of the chairman/chief launcher and other co-launchers. There was opening prayers and the presentation of Kola nuts and libation. A welcome address was delivered by the Nzuko Aro NY/NJ - Mazi Charles Opareke. The chairman/chief launcher then gave his speech. The event then proceeded to the presentation of the 'Nneoma' title to Mrs. Commy Ukpabi.Friends and well wishers gave their speech followed by dancing sessions. The famous Ojojo Dance by Aro women and the 'Ikperikpe' war dance then followed, and the dance floor was open again for DJ Paul who got the audience boogieing till dawn. Our men - Oliver Mbamara, Esq. and Sir Citor Felix Nnorom was there and brought you the scintillating photo shots as usual. Please Enjoy!
