HOW IT HAPPENED: The event commenced with the presentation of kola nut to the audience by the Host - Chief Donatus Anusionwu.  His Royal Highness, Eze Agbanyim of Amike led the kola blessing ceremony. Food and drink were served and that was quickly followed by the formal introduction of His Royal Highness, Eze Agbanyim of Amike. After washing his hand for purification purposes, the Eze gave his preliminary speech in which he cited the authority upon which he would be conferring the chieftaincy titles. His speech was spiced with prudent Igbo proverbs and sayings which the audience enjoyed very well.  He then got down to the business of the day, and conferred the chieftaincy titles. He later granted our staff an EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW on the event and his visit to New York.  The celebrant Chiefs then greeted and took photo shots with guests and friends.

HISTORY WAS MADE: It was a historic day, as the event was the first of its kind in the New York/Tri-State area (in our records). www.AfricanEvents.com was there to bring the memories to your desk.
