The Akagu Foundation 4th National Convention in New York, August 2003

The Akagu Foundation 4th National Convention in New York was held from August 29th through August 31st 2003. The event was attended by AKagu sons and daughters across the United States. Our man, Oliver Mbamara, Esq. was there to bring you the complete coverage of the event enhanced with scintillating photo shots.

Prof. Emmanuel Arthur Nnadozie (National President) with Allen Njoku (New York Area Zonal Coordinator at the event.

High Table: Members of the High table include Prof and Mrs. Emmanuel Nnadozie and Dr. and Mrs. Kevin Uwazuruike.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Attendees arrived from various areas and exchanged greetings with friends and relatives not seen for about year or so. After settling down, there was opening prayers and presentation of Kola nut. The National President delivered his speech followed by other speakers who also showed their support to the present project of the organization - rebuilding the old school buildings in their community back in Nigeria. There was a cultural entertainment session, and the audience then entertained themselves to the Afro-American mix of DJ Paul.
