Afro Heritage Venture publishes Afro Heritage magazines quarterly to educate, inform and culturally entertain the communities on the strengths, aspirations, challenges and achievements of people of African descent without prejudice. Afro Heritage Venture was founded by Ms Olutosin Mustapha to contribute her quota to community development by publishing Afro Heritage magazine and also organize innovative programs for families and communities in order to make the community of people of African descent better in New York City. She somedays works as a substitute teacher in NYC public schools and also works as an educational consultant to some providers of New York State Department of Education Supplemental Educational Services where she directly tutors the students in order for them to improve on their education and achieve their goals in life. The contributors of articles in Afro Heritage magazine are educators, writers, poets, social workers, artists, authors, cooks, and community leaders who all have a passion for contributing to community developments. The publication showcases people of African descent on a positive note as role models for the younger generation. It is in New York Public Library and used by educators to teach authentic global community studies as related to contemporary (modern) ways of life of people of African descent.
